chess
Chess is a popular sporto amongst the top academic achievers in the school who compete against each other on a regular basis and use it as a means to encourage healthy competition.

scouts
Scouts make up a large number of grades 8,9 and 10. Their main aim is to build a strong ethos of discipline, self-respect, strengthen their values and belief systems, learn outdoor skills, interact with nature and learn about the biodiversity in KZN. Their uniform is a reminder of their commitment to the program.

students' christian organisation (sco)
This body is aimed at inspiring and encouraging learners to pursue a relationship with Christ in an ever changing and challenging school environment. The group meets every day at 11:00-11:30am.
